Chapel Talk for Homeschool Co-op or School
Over my 20 years as a children’s ministry leader, I have been asked to speak at various schools and groups for their chapel times and also to lead worship. It is a joy for me! I can tailor my talk to your theme or request and also according to what age group. I have spoken to elementary, middle school, and high school students. I love to include history, geography, and cultural context in my talks about the Bible.
Mother/Daughter or Girls Event
I have been the guest speaker for a Mother/Daughter event and really enjoyed that opportunity. In my children’s ministry experience, I was also the head of a girls’ church program for several years and planned several special events. Speaking directly to Daughters of the King is something that I cherish. Queen Esther (Purim) is a favorite topic and I love to teach about her in this type of setting. Passover/Biblical Feasts
The Biblical feasts are a passion of mine and I love to teach about them. I have taught classes to students and adults. When I was a children’s ministry director, I developed and taught a class about communion in which I helped students to see the connection between Jesus and the Passover lamb. Passover is the topic of my first children’s book, Caleb’s Passover Lamb. I have also helped to lead an interactive Passover Seder experience for families.
